In November of 2016 I had the incredible opportunity to join the amazing Marcel  Van Oosten and Daniella Sibbing on one of their spectacular Squiver  tours to Anatarctica!

I flew from Phoenix Arizona to Montevideo, Uruguay where I met with my hosts and the other "squiveratti".  A motley crew of talented photographers hailing from Denmark, Netherlands, Australia, England and Canada.

We sailed aboard the Ponant ship LeLyrial and headed toward South Georgia Island. We explored and photographed thousands of King Penguins, wandering Albatross, Macaroni Penguins, Elephant seals and their pups, nesting Chinstraps and Gentoos. Gold Harbour, Cooper Bay, Stromness, Grytviken and the Salisbury Plain.
