Tired of shooting the same old fireworks displays I remembered the old technique of "Focus Pulling".
Sweating out the 104 defgree heat and the humidity from the recent monsoons I headed out to Tempe Town Lake for the annual fireworks display.

Using bulb mode and f 8 - f11 I starting the exposure out of focus and pulled the lens into focus before closing the shutter.
The shapes, patterns and effects were just what I had envisioned.
